Favourite Essential Oils...

Hello everyone! In this post, I am talking about my favourite essential oils. Essential oils are amazing products and I use them pretty much everyday. These oils became an important part of my lifestyle; they have lots of health benefits. I use them in different ways like hair care, skin care, stress relief, curing headaches and many others. Some of the favourite ones I use almost everyday are listed below.


  • Rosemary Essential Oil - Rosemary essential oil is one of the most popular essential oils for its wide array of health benefits. It has become increasingly important and popular over the years as more of its benefits are now known, including its ability to stimulate hair growth, boost mental activity, relieve respiratory problems and reduce pain. 
              How I use it : Mix it in my favourite hair oil, muscle relaxation, headaches.


  • Eucalyptus Essential Oil -The health benefits of eucalyptus oil are well-known and wide-ranging, and its properties include being an anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, decongestant, deodorant, antiseptic, antibacterial, stimulating, and other medicinal qualities. Eucalyptus essential oil is colorless and has a distinctive taste and odor.
             How I use it : Treating common cough cold, headaches, mixing it in hair oil, as a mouthwash.


  • Lavender Essential oil -The health benefits of lavender essential oil include its ability to eliminate nervous tension, relieve pain, disinfect the scalp and skin, enhance blood circulation and treat respiratory problemsLavender oil blends well with many other essential oils including cedar wood, pine clary sage, geranium, and nutmeg. Today, lavender essential oil is frequently used in various forms including aromatherapy oil, gels, infusion, lotion, and soaps.
               How I use it : Skin care, treating earache, as a room freshener.


  • Peppermint Essential oil - The health benefits of peppermint oil include its ability to treat indigestion, respiratory problemsheadache, nausea, fever, stomach and bowel spasms, as well as for pain relief. Due to the presence of menthol, menthone and menthyl esters, peppermint and peppermint oil find wide applications in the manufacturing of soap, shampoo, cigarettes, toothpaste, chewing gum, tea and ice cream.
              How I use it :  Treating respiratory problems, dental care, pain relief.


  • Clary Sage Essential Oil - The health benefits of Clary Sage Essential Oil can be attributed to its properties as an antidepressant, anticonvulsive, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, astringent, bactericidal, carminative, deodorant, digestive, emmenagogue, euphoric, hypotensive, nervine, sedative, stomachic and uterine substance.
               How I use it : As an antidepressant, treating sore muscles,  treating dry skin.


  • Sandalwood Essential Oil - The health benefits of Sandalwood essential oil can be attributed to its properties as an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antiphlogistic, antispasmodic, astringent, cicatrisant, carminative, diuretic, disinfectant, emollient, expectorant, hypotensive, memory booster, sedative, and a tonic substance.    
             How I use it : Mixing it in my face packs, air freshener, to treat wounds, pimples, and boils.
