I am an avid skin care fan, whether it’s a cleanser, toner, or moisturiser. I always feel like the more you take care of your skin, the less makeup you have to wear. This week I’m sharing my favourite face masks.
I love trying out new skincare and face masks are a great way to try out a new brand without completely switching up your routine. However, I always find myself reaching for 3 types of face masks hydrating, radiance and charcoal masks. Which type I go for depends on how my skin is feeling at the time. Each of these types of face mask does very different jobs. And for that reason, I think you should have a least 1 of each type of face mask in your beauty stash.
Hydrating Mask
This is the perfect solution for dry, dehydrated winter skin. My favourite hydrating mask is Liz Earl Intensive Nourishing treatment mask. I’ve been using this for years and always replace as soon as it runs out. This creamy botanical mask, enriched with West African shea and borage seed oil, leaves parched, stressed and dry skin feeling hydrated and soothed.
Naturally active ingredients include West African shea and borage seed oil, plus comfrey to calm, while the uplifting fragrance containing rose-scented geranium helps to refresh your senses.
Radiance Mask
I find myself hunting for products which promise radiance more frequently. Anything which leaves my skin glowing gets a thumbs up from me. My current favourite radiance mask is Dior Capture Totale Dreamskin 1 minute Mask. This revolutionary mask transforms the skin, like new, to refresh and reveal its natural radiance in just 60 seconds.
Purifying Mask
My favourite Elemis product, gentle but effective on my sensitive skin. This mask exfoliate and purify tired, lacklustre skin. It contains natural fruit enzymes of exfoliating Papaya and calming Pineapple which smooth and clarify the complexion.
This exfoliator mask has a thin consistency so you don't need to use a lot. It has a fantastic smell and the bonus is how healthy and clean the skin looks afterwards. I use it once a week to keep skin looking healthy.
What are your favourite masks?
